Okay...here we go. Next round of IVF started today. We are hoping for a sibling for our sweet baby Leo because lets face it siblings are AMAZING.
I remember my whole pregnancy with Leo I kept telling Chris, NEVER AGAIN. And then at 8 1/2 months I told him over dinner...okay I can do this again!
I had a very rough pregnancy with Leo; I vomited 3+ times a day all 38 weeks and 6 days! My heartburn was epic and my restless leg syndrome drove me and Chris up a wall. But...we can do this!
I actually forgot how painful some of the pre-tests are. I had my sonohystogram today and I nearly jumped off the exam table. Doc said it would be less painful b/c I have given birth already but she lied! LOL. Oh well.
This time around I am very fortunate to have donated drugs from my good friend D. and a buddy (my son's regular babysitter) to go through this with. Her first round of IVF started a week before mine so we are going through the same things pretty much at the same time and have each other to commiserate with when our husbands tell us...it can't be that bad!
In preparation of this next round I started my acupuncture up again 6 weeks ago and I am also seeing a chiropractor that specializes in IVF patients.
Everything AND the Kitchen sink!
Well....cross your fingers, toes, eyes and legs for me because...here we go again!
Oh and I haven't told my assistant at work yet b/c it will literally put her over the edge. Her grandmother like concern will not be thrilled that she has to suffer through another round of moody mama! Oh well. :-)
