Period,
period where for art thou period?
We
were scheduled to start our next round on February 2nd which was
supposed to be the 3rd day of my period…
My
period is M.I.A.
My
sweet and very well meaning husband says, “Maybe we are pregnant”. Silly
husband. Please note he was sitting right next to me when our fertility doctor
informed us that a ‘natural’ pregnancy was not even a remote possibility for
us.
Well
wouldn’t you know it I am very eager to start my monthly, ha ha ha. Never
thought I would say that! I have all the warning signs: irritability, back
ache, boobs hurting, period pimples…the works. So why, oh why has my period not
started?
Today
I am attempting a sort of rain dance to draw it out; the tri-fecta, the sure
fire way to get things flowing.
1. Wear White Lacey Panties,
2. Take a
pregnancy test,
3. Pack suitcase for our flight out tonight and purposely forget
to pack any tampons.
That should just about do it! At last call for boarding
tonight it should be first call for the ol’ period.
If
that fails the doctor has me starting a drug called Provera tomorrow morning; I
will take it for ten days and then start my injections.
If all goes well we should be ‘transferring’ our remaining two embryos the week of March 16th. It is important that I share and recognize and had to recognize on paper by signing a waiver that there is a possibility that the embryos will not survive the thawing process.

Please
keep Chris and I and our two little embryos in your prayers.
